My story includes many facets of poverty, abuse, violence, homelessness, mental illness, sadness, dysfunctionality, etc. However, it also provides plenty of love for my family and the people who have been in my life. Although things did not turn out the way I’d hoped, I don’t think I did too bad. If I’d been raised differently, I might not have been able to cope with some of the issues I’ve endured. Despite the many challenges, I have realized that I still have a deep love for my family.

Writing Journey
Writing this book is probably one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done. I am sure it violates every “Man Code” there is to break. Putting my story out for all the world to see is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done, and I will be forever embarrassed. Yet, it’s rewarding to know I have put “pen to paper” in my effort to tell the world I have, had some of the same issues, problems, good times, bad times, just like you.
